The WRZ4-PF-V20 micro-lubrication unit was developed specifically for metal cutting and forming to replace the traditional water-soluble cutting fluid tool cooling and lubrication system. The system uses a micropneumatic pump (displacement can be precisely adjusted) to deliver a precisely metered amount of lubricant to the cutting edge for lubrication, so that no oil mist is diffused into the air while avoiding the frictional heat generated by the tool/workpiece. A small amount of lubricating oil is consumed during the machining process. Since only a small amount of lubricating oil is used for lubrication, there is no dispersion of oil mist, and no waste (conventional cutting fluid) needs to be treated, so the production efficiency is improved. The system can avoid heat accumulation and thermal deformation, so the machining process is precise and clean. The tool and the workpiece are at room temperature during machining, and the life of the tool can be greatly extended, reducing the cost of maintenance and tool replacement.
